My Favorite Backpacking Links Below are some great backpacking websites I've been to.
SierraHiker.com - Bill Finch's website on his High Sierra backpacking trips.
Most of the trips are in the Sequoia/Kings Canyon area. Some pretty good
information and great pictures.
My Travel Backpack - "You, your backpack and somewhere cool on the planet." Pictures of people with their backpacks, traveling around the world.
Fedak.net - He has a lot of hiking
trips. Most of them are not in the Sierras and are day hikes. But he has some
pretty good Sierra hikes. Most of the Sierra hikes are in the Yosemite region and not much
farther south.
C. Hayden's Hikes and Adventures - This site has some great trips in the Sierras.
Usually long, off-trail hikes near the Kaweah's in Sequoia National Park. Some
really great pictures as well.

Dan's Sierra Club
Outings - A website of someone who leads some Sierra Club hikes (I haven't
been on any of his). He has some great trips and photos and information if you
