Trip Summary (July 1994): This was my second backpacking trip. I think
we took it easy and went to the lake and stayed a couple days. It was a really
nice lake. This was my first time being at a high elevation and I really liked
it. There we some raspberries down by the lake which I enjoyed eating. Above
the lake was a snow pack
which we later hiked up to.
Just below the snow pack was a small pond, which I thought was really
cool .
And you can get a pretty good view of the lake from up there.
My mom and her cousin went up the hill a ways and got some good pictures of
the surrounding mountains from up there .
